How awards are decided

Need has to be demonstrated.

Please complete all questions as requested: Limited financial aid is available on demonstrated financial basis only.

Since the amount of the financial aid is based upon a demonstrated need, no student can be considered for financial aid unless there is evidence that he/she could not attend classes or lessons at the Children’s Orchestra Society without such assistance. A special scholarship committee will determine awards accordingly.

All financial information given to COS is treated as personal and confidential.

AID PROCESS DETAIL NEEDED

Neither form tells a family the deadline, what documentation to have ready, who reviews the application, how long a decision takes, or whether aid renews each season. Those five answers are what turn a form into a process a parent can plan around. The original heading on this page also read “Confidental,” corrected here to “Confidential.”

Tuition and payment plans

Asking for help will not affect your child’s placement.

Aid is decided separately from the audition, by a scholarship committee.
